How a video visit works
Confirm your appointment
Telehealth is for established patients. Schedule your follow-up by calling the office, then watch for your appointment time.
Open the waiting room
At your appointment time, click “Enter the waiting room” below. It opens right in your browser - nothing to download or install.
Enter your name and check in
Type your name so Dr. Patil knows you have arrived, then allow your browser to use your camera and microphone.
Dr. Patil starts the visit
You will see a brief waiting screen. Dr. Patil will begin the video call when he is ready - just like being called in from the waiting room.
Before your visit
- A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or strong cellular)
- An up-to-date browser - Chrome or Safari work best
- A working camera (built-in or external webcam)
- A microphone, and headphones if you have them
- A quiet, private, well-lit room where you can speak freely
- Your current medication list and pharmacy on hand
