Yes - follow-up visits are available by video for established patients. All initial evaluations must take place in person at our Bedford office so Dr. Patil can conduct a thorough assessment.

The initial evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. Dr. Patil will take a detailed history of your symptoms, medical background, medications, family history, and goals. No decisions are made on the spot - the first visit is about understanding you.

Yes, when clinically appropriate. Stimulants for ADHD and other scheduled medications are prescribed on a case-by-case basis following a proper evaluation and with appropriate monitoring.

Medicare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, GEHA, and Tufts Health Plan. Coverage varies by plan - please call to confirm your specific benefits before your first visit.

Dr. Patil sees patients ages 10 and up. For children younger than 10, or those with developmental disorders requiring specialized care, we are happy to provide a referral.

Call the office during business hours. Please allow 2–3 business days for refill requests. Controlled substance refills require an up-to-date appointment and cannot be called in without a recent visit.

Please call at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another patient. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Yes. Call the office and we will provide a records release form. Allow 7–10 business days for records to be processed.
